Not A Lemonade Stand
Growing up in Bahrain, I had a skill for recognizing a need and finding a way to fill it. The local neighborhood store was popular but involved a walk a lot of the kids couldn't make alone. I used to love going to that small store and looking at candy and school supplies, two things I was passionate about back then.
Realizing a lot of parents wouldn't let their kids walk to the store alone, I set up shop (a.k.a my nightstand) on the sidewalk outside my house and filled it with my favorite candy and some school supplies. I became a convenient stop for the friends who lived on my street. Word spread and I was the go-to for anyone craving a midday snack or needing a new notebook on weekends.
I started learning about the different tastes people had, and even started offering 'bulk' discounts. While that phase of my childhood was short-lived, it ignited something in me that I realized as I grew up: the joy of identifying a customer's need and creating a solution that brings both value and happiness.

This experience sparked a lifelong fascination with how people make choices. From vibrant packaging that brings buzz, to the strategic pricing that made my small "store" both accessible and profitable, I realized the power of providing convenience and understanding my audience. Even then, I grasped the potential of marketing to connect, influence, and ultimately build something impactful.
